Tim Haley is the President and C.E.O. of Help for Heroes and Educational Medical Services . He founded this company after almost 30 years in emergency services. Tim has always had a passion for what he does and was even married in a rescue, on duty, in 1974. Tim is a registered nurse specializing in trauma and emergency room work and is a National Registered and Florida certified paramedic. Tim holds a Florida Professional Firefighter certificate and is national certified as a Fire Officer II. He holds instructor ratings in: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS), Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), pediatric prehospital medical, crime scene responder, flight physiology, Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), surgical airway intervention, self defense for emergency responders (surviving the streets), how to deal with the aggressive patient, vehicle extrication, and more. Tim diligently seeks out and employs only the best instructors in the disciplines he offers.

He is a born again Christian and has 5 children. His bride of over 27 years is responsible for much of the management of the day to day operations while Tim concentrates on education and provider services. Tim has worked as a 911 responder for large urban systems like National Ambulance in Rochester, N.Y. and Sunstar/Medic-One in Pinellas County, Florida, where he served as operations supervisor. Tim also has a strong knowledge base of rural system needs and served as chief of Dunnellon Rescue Squad with an average transport time (ALS) of 30 to 45 minutes.

Tim's hobbies include scuba diving and his 1959 antique Harley Davidson motorcycle. Tim has been an international advanced life support competition judge and team coach at the large Clin-Con event in Florida since 1988.
